Weekly train for Shirdi flagged off


BHUBANESWAR 
The much-awaited Puri-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Puri Express – a new weekly train — was flagged off from Puri Railway Station on Saturday, August 10.

State Tourism and Culture Minister Maheswar Mohanty and BJD Lok Sabha member Pinaki Mishra waved green flag at the inaugural run of the train. Eminent citizens of Puri and senior officers of East Coast Railway, including Divisional Railway Manager of Khurda Road Division Sanjay Kumar Mohanty were present. The train will leave Puri at 10.15 p.m. on every Friday from August 16 and will arrive at Sai Nagar Shirdi at 8.25 a.m. on every Sundays. In the return direction, the train will leave Sai Nagar Shirdi at 1 p.m. on every Sunday from August 18 and will arrive at Puri at 11 p.m. on every Monday.

People especially Sai devotees were elated over introduction of the weekly train to Sai Nagar Shirdi.
