Vienna welcomed 50% more Indian tourists in 2015 over 2014, said the Vienna Tourist board.

The country registered 40,355 Indian tourist arrivals in 2015. Indian tourists accounted for 89,628 overnight stays in the country during 2015, growing by 38.7% over 2014, reports The Economic Times.

“Vienna’s imperial heritage along with contemporary attractions and young neighbourhoods will continue to offer something for everyone in an Indian family as the city prepares to welcome Indian travellers in much larger numbers in 2016,” Norbert Kettner, director, Vienna Tourist Board said in a press statement.
