Tourist police stations for 3 Raj cities

For the first time, three cities in the state would have dedicated tourist police stations.

In order to give extra security cover to tourists visiting Rajasthan, chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday gave his nod to issue a notification to start tourist police stations in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Gehlot had already made a proposal in this regard in his budget speech for 2013-14 and he urged authorities to issue a notification to open tourist police stations in these cities.
