Tigerair launches additional Singapore-Chennai flights

CHENNAI

Tigerair will expand its service between Chennai and Singapore by adding two weekly flights to the existing seven weekly flights for the sector owing to increased demand beginning December 4, 2014. Bookings for both flights are now available on Tigerair’s website- www.tigerair.com.

“The decision to increase frequencies to Chennai is in line with the upsurge in travel demand.The rise in the middle income groups, youth and vacationers who are increasingly choosing to experience destination Singapore on Tigerair flights, is another reason contributing to the flight additions. We are confident that this expansion will enhance travel options and thereby contribute to the growth in tourism for both countries,” said Robert Yang, Commercial Director, Tigerair.

Tigerair operates total 36 weekly flights to Singapore from five Indian destinations. The airline also connects to Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Perth, Taipei via Singapore, the gateway to destinations in Asia Pacific.
