Thomas Cook sees 22% increase in monsoon tourism

Thomas Cook India has seen a 22% increase in monsoon tourism to both domestic and international destinations for India.

To benefit from the increased traveller volumes, it has launched a special monsoon package called Drizzlers 2015 that offers travelers up to 25-30% lower prices internationally.  Domestic tourists too can tour the country at 15% lower costs.”Monsoons are typically considered to be a lean travel period for families, courtesy commencement of schools,” chief operating officer – domestic, mice & sports tourism Rajeev Kale said.

The offer is available for more than 100 new destinations including international destinations like Egypt, Abu Dhabi, Seychelles, Oman, Turkey, Dubai, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali as well as USA, Canada, Spain. For Indian monsoon getaways Goa, Uttarakhand, Yelagiri, Ooty, Munnar, Kodaikanal, Odisha, Gangtok, Manali, Darjeeling, Himachal, Kerala and even Sri Lanka offer attractive opportunities, Kale said.
