According to the Philippines Tourism Marketing Office, India, an ideal trip to the country would last six nights. Here is a sample itinerary to get you started. Begin with a tour of Manila on the day of arrival, taking in sights like Intramuros and the Coconut Palace.
The following day, take a scenic, 55 km drive to the Tagaytay city, which is located on the Tagaytay ridge. You get spectacular views of Taal lake and Taal volcano, whose crater houses another volcano known as ‘lake within a volcano’. On day 3, take a domestic flight to Boracay (Caticlan airport), one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
Over the next 48 hours, indulge in beach-hopping, snorkelling, cave exploring and just lazing on the beaches. On day 5, catch a flight to Cebu (Mactan airport). From here you can take a fast boat ride to the Bohol island for an overnight stay.
