The state tourism department is looking for private hospitality players to run its chain of hotels and resorts under the brand name of “Toran”.
“The existing Torans will be upgraded and be handed over to private players for management, while ownership will continue to remain with the state government. But last year, in a bid to improve accommodations and infrastructure in Gujarat, it had renovated and upgraded its Toran chain including places like Ahmedabad and Saputara.
