Presence of rat in Dreamliner cockpit rattles Air India

DELHI

In the theatre of the absurd called Air India (AI), a new low was reached with the presence of a rodent on board an AI Dreamliner en route to London from New Delhi.

The unprecedented incident reportedly took place when the pilot spotted the rat under the rudder pedal.

Mail Today has now accessed the transcript of messages exchanged between the pilot and the airline’s control room in New Delhi.

The logs of the recorded conversation reveal utter callousness. Surprisingly, in a fly-by-wire plane, the control room directed the commander to fly onwards assuring him that the aircraft would be fumigated upon its arrival at London airport – despite the risk of the rat damaging the wires in the cockpit. Further, AI doesn’t have an engineering wing in London.
