New protected monument in Andhra


HYDERABAD 
The ancient temple of Sri Amaralingeswara Swamy at Amaravaram village in Huzurnagar in Nalgonda district, was declared a protected monument by the Tourism and Culture department on Wednesday, August 7.

According to Amaravaram locals, the temple was constructed around 150 years ago and has great archaeological and historical importance.

As the temple has been in a dilapidated condition from a long time, the locals wanted the rare Siva temple to be protected.
