NASHIK: Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and Sanskriti Agro Tourism jointly organised a seminar on Tuesday, on the occasion of World Agro Tourism Day at Mamacha Mala, Makhmalabad.
After promoting wine tourism, MTDC is now promoting Agro tourism in the state. The seminar, organised at Mamacha Mala has a lush green farmland with the elements of agriculture and authentic food.
The seminar was attended by more than 200 people including students, families and senior citizens. The agro-tourism is free for all who are interested in knowing about farmer’s lives and interested in agriculture.
Vintage vehicles, bullock carts and rickshaw welcomed the guests who attended the seminar. There were attraction like big swings, trees, simple huts and misal paav were served baked on traditional oven. There were huge elephant that looked real, the scenery included birds, farm ponds and farms which were the attractions of the day. It looked like a conventional village scene with a pan stall, small shop with lozenges, and children playing instruments were a part of the interesting seminar.
