MTDC gives facelift to two resorts

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), Nashik, has recently renovated two of its resorts in Bhandardhara and Trimbakeshwar. In a fortnight, the corporation will commence the renovation of its resort in Shirdi. It is awaiting approval for renovating the resort in Toranmal.

The engineering branch of the MTDC has handed over the resorts in Bhandardhara and Trimbakeshwar to the tourism department. The renovation work is being carried out in view of the forthcoming Kumbh mela in the city, reports Times of India.

Located in the Sahyadri hills, around 70 km from here, Bhandardara has beautiful mountains, waterfalls, dam and lush greenery and is a hotspot for tourists and adventure lovers.

“We have recently completed the renovation of two resorts. In Bhandardhara, reservations for rooms have already begun,” said a sectional engineer in the MTDC. The renovation work was done at a cost of Rs 3.15 crore.
