Movie on India air crash to be shot in Dubai

The horrific air tragedy at India’s Mangalore International Airport in 2010, which killed 158 passengers and crew, is the backdrop of an upcoming Malayalam feature film to be partially shot in Dubai.

Since the tragedy involved passengers from Dubai to Mangalore, part of the film’s story will be based in Dubai and other parts of the UAE, said director Shaheer Ummer, who was an expatriate Keralite in the UAE for several years.

The film titled Eni Mazhayulola Nattilekku (Now, Towards a Rainy Abode), has several Dubai-based talents working behind, including cinematographer Anil Vadakkekkara.
