MoU between MoEF and Noida authority soon


The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the ministry of environment and forest (MoEF) and Noida Authority to develop Noida’s Botanic Garden of Indian Republic (BGIR) as a nodal centre for conservation, research and environmental education.

The Cabinet also Authorized Noida Authority CEO Rama Raman to sign the Final MoU with MoEF at the the earliest. In one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, 200 acres of prime Land in Noida’s Sector 38A was Earmarked for BGIR by the Botanical Survey of India, to BE put in place in five years according to agreement, reports Times of India.
