Include Odisha pix in Incredible India campaign

Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhy has written a DO letter to Giris Shankar, IAS, Addl. Secretary, Ministry of Tourism Government of India, New Delhi regarding inclusion of some products of Odisha Tourism in the Incredible India Campaign especially in view of the ensuing Nabakalebar Festival-2015.

He had agreed the proposal in the discussion held on 4th April, 2014.  Accordingly Sri Padhy has sent picture of a selected Sand Art on Lord Jagannath made by Padmashree Sudarshan Pattnaik along with pictures of other tourism destinations (Konark, Puri and Bhubaneswar Golden Triangle, Dhauli Budhist Shantistupa, Khandagiri and Udaygiri Caves in Bhubaneswar, Chilika lake, Rantnagiri, Lalitgiri, Udayagiri and Langudi Budhist Circuit, Deomali of Koraput, Harishankar, Nurshinganath, Bhitarkanika Crocodile Sanctuary, Similipal National Park, Taptapani Hot water Spring, Nanadankanan Biological Park,) both in hard and soft copies and requested to include in the Incredible India Annual Calendar and Campaign as agreed upon during discussion, which will help a lot to create public awareness in India regarding Orissan famous art & culture
