Tourism to Bihar, India on the agenda for Vietnam

Tourism is important for this region. Since the late 1970s, Bihar, India has been behind other Indian states in terms of its social and economic development. Now Vietnam is interested in investing in tourism and fisheries in Bihar, India. This is according to he Vietnamese Ambassador to India, Ton Sinh Thanh.

Bihar is a state in Northern India.It is the 12th largest state in terms of geographical size and 3rd largest by population. It is borders at Uttar Pradesh in the west, Nepal to the north, the northern part of West Bengal to the east, and by Jharkhand to the south, reports e-turbo news.

Tourism relations were on the agenda, when the ambassador met Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi at his official residence to discuss the proposed visit of Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to the state.

Dung will be on a two-day visit to India from October 27. He will first land at Bodh Gaya and meet Manjhi before flying to New Delhi the same evening.
