IAF partly grants AI request for Pune morning slot

PUNE
The Indian Air Force (IAF), which controls the Lohegaon air field here, has partly granted Air India’s (AI) request by allowing operation of its Pune-Delhi flight on Saturdays and Sundays between 8 am and 8.40 am.

The revamp of the airport, under the Modernization of Air Field Infrastructure (MAFI) project, begins today and will continue for the next three months during which the restrictions on civilian flights will apply.

On four of the remaining five days in the week, the flight (AI-851/852) will operate between 10.40 am and 11.10 am. The flight does not operate on Fridays.
