THIRUVANANTHAPURAM
Hotel and restaurant operators have said that they would be forced to either shut shop or jack up prices of food items unless the prices of essential commodities are brought down. They have demanded urgent government intervention in this regard.

The executive committee of the Kerala Hotel and Restaurants Association (KHRA), which is scheduled to meet this month, will take a decision on the matter, KHRA president Sudheesh Kumar and general secretary Jose Mohan said in a statement here.
