DTPC plans makeover for 700-year-old Naganchery Mana

 one of the prominent heritage buildings in the district, will soon
 get a major makeover.

The 700-year old Perumbavoor Iringol Mana (Naganchery Mana), one of the prominent heritage buildings in the district, will soon get a major makeover.

The District Tourism Council (DTPC) has come up with a master plan to renovate the Mana and its premises with an aim to make the spot a major  tourist destination in the district.

DTPC secretary R Jayasankar said considering the increasing number of  tourists visiting the area, the DTPC has mooted a comprehensive development plan for the Mana and its surroundings. The main aim of the project is to preserve and enhance the local culture, art, handicraft, monuments and other natural and man-made tourist resources in the area.
