Double decker train between Mumbai and Goa delayed

MUMBAI

The first double-decker train service between Mumbai and Goa began on a chaotic note on Friday, with the pilot crew stopping the train at Roha station in Raigad district and refusing to take it further. The drama lasted for an hour, upsetting passengers, and ended only when a different crew was rushed over.

Hours after the fiasco, Central Railway said its pilot and co-pilot were to be replaced by a crew of Konkan Railway at Roha, while KR claimed that they were to be relieved at a later station.
