Bihar to develop Janki Circuit: CM

SITAMARHI
CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said the state government is committed to develop Janki circuit to attract tourists to north Bihar. He said that Punaura Dham and Panthpakar village temples in Sitamarhi district would be also developed.

“There is no dearth of fund for development of the Janki Circuit. I have instructed the departmental officials in this regard,” said the CM.

“The initiative taken by Pintuji’s (former tourism minister Sunil Kumar Pintu and Sitamarhi BJP MLA) in connection with the project will not be left midway. This is my commitment,” said the chief minister while addressing a meeting after unveiling the Janki Udbhava Pratima ( statue of goddess Janki coming out from the earthen pot during ploughing by King Janak of Janakpur) at a function on the Sitamarhi railway station campus. Nitish prayed to the rain God to give water to the drought-hit district as he had given to Mithila the days of yore.
