GUWAHATI

While Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi renewed his demand for national drink status for tea, Union minister of state for commerce and industry, Nirmala Sitharaman, however remained non committal and said that government has not taken stand on this issue.

Tea board has decided to focus on five international countries including USA, Egypt, Russia, Kazakhstan and Iran for increasing exports, reports Economic Times.
