AirAsia launches ‘AirAsia Inflight Reader’ app

MUMBAI

AirAsia India, in collaboration with Demansol/Inflight Digital, has launched an app called ‘AirAsia Inflight Reader’ to enable travellers across all airports in India to read magazines with a single download. Eighty-seven magazines from some of the top publishers in Asia are available for download on the app, as per a release.

The app has been launched with the aim of making it more convenient for travellers to fly on AirAsia India. Users can download the app from iTunes or the Android app store. Guests can read magazines for free on their mobile devices (iPhone/iPad/Android smartphones and tablets) for the first 24 hours at any airport in India.

In addition, 500 airports across international destinations recognise the AirAsia Inflight Reader app. The app, which is accessible to flyers at all airlines, has a library of magazine titles for travellers to read on their devices. On downloading the app, one will be directed to open a free of charge an account. If users wish to continue reading longer than the first free 24 hours, they have the option of buying a single issue of the magazine within the app.

Mittu Chandilya, CEO, AirAsia India, said, “Passing time at an airport can be a tough task for travellers. With the AirAsia Inflight Reader app, passengers can read magazines at any airport in India by just downloading the app. We do hope that with the launch of this app, all our guests have a pleasant and engaging journey.”
