A mission to make Wayanad bloom


KALPETTA
Regional Agriculture Research Station (RARS), Ambalavayal, under the Kerala Agriculture University, will organise a 10-day flower show at Ambalavayal from February 2 to 12, to tap the floriculture potential of Wayanad district.

Minister for Agriculture K.P. Mohanan will open the flower show on February 2. The valedictory will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on February 12.

The programme aims at sensitising farmers to the vast commercial potential of floriculture in the district, P. Rajendran, Associate Director of Research, RARS, said.
