The Second edition of the MTB Kerala, an international mountain biking event, hosted by the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS), an initiative of the Kerala Tourism department, will be held at Perungoda near Pozhuthana in the district on February 15.
The event is organised in association with the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC).
The Union Cycliste Internationale and Cycling Federation of India will provide technical assistance for the programme.
Speaking to the media persons here on Saturday Asha Jose, chief convener, KATPS, and Veena N. Madhavan, Wayanad sub-collector, who is also the secretary of the DTPC, said that separate cross country mountain cycling competitions would be held for national and international level.
