All-India Ayush Arogya mela would be conducted in the city from March 5 to 8.
The mela, to be jointly organised by the Union Ministry of Ayush and the State government with assistance from FICCI, would be another major national event the city would witness after the Partnership Summit and the just concluded International Fleet Review, reports The Hindu.
Pharmaceutical companies, study and research centres, equipment manufacturers associated with Ayurveda, Unani, Yoga, naturopathy, homoeopathy, Siddha and Sova-Rigba, along with medical insurances and health tourism organisations would participated in the Ayush Arogya Mela. Collector N. Yuvaraj on Wednesday held discussions with district officials and FICCI representatives on the arrangements to be made for the Arogya Mela at the AU College of Engineering ground. Chief Minster N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minster of State for Health Sripada Sonu Nayak and others would be attending.
