Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines joint venture brand in India Vistara will introduce two daily flights connecting Bengaluru to New Delhi and Mumbai tomorrow. The airline said that as India’s most popular business destination, Bengaluru is a natural extension to Vistara’s growing network. Bengaluru is Vistara’s second destination in South India after Hyderabad and the tenth destination overall since it commenced operations in January this year.
Vistara now offers 237 weekly frequencies connecting Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bagdogra, Guwahati, Goa, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.
Sharing his excitement at the launch, Phee Teik Yeoh, CEO, Vistara said “Bengaluru is the third most populous city in India and the top destination for IT exports from the country. It is the most visited city in India for business travel and offers ample potential for Vistara.”
