The state government’s policies of supporting vices to promote tourism are now showing and posing a threat to the security of citizens, Bailancho Saad, a women’s organization has said in a statement issued on Friday.
The group discussed last week’s Nigerian issue at its meeting and blamed the government for the erosion of law-and-order and the spilling of drug wars onto the streets.
“We have been consistently protesting government policies of promoting vices to promote tourism, which has resulted in drastic consequences on the populace. While drugs are illegal, drug parties and related activities are allowed,” Sabina Martins of the organization stated.
