LUCKNOW: On demand taxi call service and app Uber has launched its operations in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow is the first city in Uttar Pradesh to get the taxi service. India is one of the firm’s global priority markets. It has been in the country for three years now and continues to expand its market operations.
Aditya Varma, General Manager, Uber North said, “Our goal is to enable a safe, reliable and affordable transportation system at the tap of a button for commuters around the world. We are extremely excited to introduce Lucknow to quality transportation through our services and are looking forward to mobilise the skilled labour market by providing thousands of entrepreneurship opportunities on the Uber platform.”
