The Great Indian Travel Bazaar will be held in Jaipur from April 19-21, 2015, after a one-year hiatus. The 7th edition of the travel mart will be held at Sitapura and not at Birla Auditorium.
The inaugural session will be held at Hotel Lalit on April 19 and the exhibition along with B2B meetings would be held on April 20-21at JECC, Sitapura. As many as 277 foreign buyers from 45 countries have already confirmed their presence at the inbound tourism mart. “Furthermore, 185 exhibitors (Indian sellers), comprising of state governments, hotels, spas and resorts, tour operators and travel agents will also be participating. As many as 6,300 pre-scheduled meetings have already been confirmed at this B2B travel event,” said Shailendra Agarwal, principal secretary, tourism.
Jai Singh, chairman, FIRajasthan State Council, said, “In the past the event had received an overwhelming response with participation from 8 Indian states like Gujarat, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Chattisgarh and Odisha.” The programme is supported by Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) and Hotel & Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR).
