VARANASI
Out of all the tourists who visit Varanasi every year, approximately 50,000 visit Mahiyar Devi and Khajuraho temple in Madhya Pradesh.
Marketing executive, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC), Atul Awasthi, who was in the city while conducting a training programme for travel and tour operators of Varanasi, gave this information on Saturday.
He said ever since the MP Tourism opened its marketing office in Varanasi last year, the tourist influx on Varanasi-Madhya Pradesh belt has increased to about 50%.
