An exclusive tea tasting session organised by Kothari Agricultural Management Centre (KAMC) here for visiting delegates from Germany, Indonesia and Bangladesh has helped them gain an insight into the variety of teas available in the country.
“The Government of India has sponsored the delegates from Bangladesh Tea Board and Indonesia Research Institute of Tea And Cinchona while German visitors are through COMINDIA Indo-German tourism venture. We organised this session to enhance global appreciation for Indian tea and tourism”, KAMC Director A.V.K. Iyengar told Business Line.
Tea tasting expert T. Bhaskar guided the delegates through a practical hands-on experience to appreciate tea quality with varieties of samples.
