Taj reopens its Lanka hotel


The Indian Hotels Company, which runs the Taj, Vivanta and Gateway brands of hotels, today said it has reopened its Sri Lanka property, the Vivanta by Taj Bentota, after extensive renovations, which cost it over Rs 65 crore. 

The 160-rooms Vivanta by Taj Bentota is an exclusive beach and spa resort on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, said its general manager Manoj Mathew in a statement. 

The property has over 6,500 sqft of indoor and outdoor space for meetings and conferences, he added.
