BHUBANESWAR: Odisha tourism department has appointed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik as the brand ambassador for the 5th International Sand Art Festival to be held at Konark from December 1 to 5 at Konark in Puri. Odisha tourism has been organising this festival for last four years.
Several sand artists from India and abroad are expected to participate in the festival.
Pattnaik said that he was happy being the festival’s ambassador. He added that he expects a large number of visitors to turn up at the event as it would coincide with the Make in Odisha Conclave.
Sudarsan is a celebrated sand artist. has participated in more than 50 international sand art festivals and competition around the world.
