Singapore Airlines, Silk Air offer Asia air pass

Singapore Airlines and Silk Air have launched an exclusive Asia Airpass for passengers from India flying to long-haul destinations beyond Singapore to Hong Kong, China, Japan, US, Australia and New Zealand. With this, passengers can avail of special add-on fares between Singapore and destinations within North Asia and South-East Asia for a maximum of four sectors.

These passes are available for sale till March 31, 2014. Bookings can be made from 11 cities in India – Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram and Visakhapatnam.

Commenting on the launch of the Airpass, G M Toh, General Manager India – Singapore Airlines, said, “With 107 weekly flights from India to Singapore and seamless connections to almost 100 cities worldwide, Singapore Airlines and SilkAir are the preferred carriers for travellers who choose or need to visit multiple destinations in Asia. The Airpass provides the convenience of multi-city itineraries at economical prices and more productive use of customers’ business or leisure travel time.” The pass can be purchased either through a travel agent or directly from the local offices of Singapore Airlines or SilkAir in India.
