BANGALORE
Incredible India, an initiative by Union Ministry of Tourism, in association with content-based digital solutions provider, Trivone Digital Services Pvt Ltd, has launched a short film contest for travellers to promote tourism by depicting pristine destinations in the country.

The contest, open to both Indians and foreign nationals, aims to promote unexplored destinations and encourage visitors to share their travel adventures. Anyone can upload travel videos of less than three minutes’ duration on the Pixel13 (www.pixel13.in) website to showcase the best of their experiences, a press release stated. Videos that portray best destinations, travel experiences and guidelines to visit lesser-known places can be uploaded. The initiative has already received over 1,800 entries.

Contestants have to be aged 18 or above to participate in the free online contest. The short films will be judged by a high-powered jury combined with an online poll, which will be initiated once the call for entries closes down, the release stated.
