Sarovar Hotels launched India’s first ‘Hindi’ hotel website, www.sarovarhotels.com, at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi today. The website was launched by Dr. Lalit K Panwar, Secretary Tourism.
The website’s content has been crafted in ‘everyday’ Hindi to connect better with the target audience. Guests can book unmatched deals and offers across more than 70 Sarovar Hotels across 48 destinations in India, including two hotels in East Africa.
“More than 180 million people in India regard ‘Hindi’ as their mother tongue and another 300 million use Hindi as a second language. So this is a fantastic initiative,” said Panwar. He added that Hindi language is gaining prominence with the corporate sector. “This initiative, appreciating our cultural values, will surely instill a lot of pride in all tourism stakeholders,” he said.
