KANNUR
A project for developing basic amenities for tourists visiting Kanjirakkolli located on the foothills of the Western Ghats bordering the Kodagu range of forests in Karnataka will be implemented by the Tourism Department through the public sector Forest Industries (Travancore) Ltd.
The project sanctioned by the State government is estimated at Rs.60 lakh that includes development of basic facilities such as a cafeteria, information centre, parking area, and toilets. The facilities are being developed on a 20-cent land handed over to the Tourism Department by a private owner.
