
VADODRA: Kutch’s popular Rann Utsav 2016 started on November 1 and is already seeing a number of global and Indians travel enthusiasts throng the Gujarat district.The annual festival will last till February 20, 2017. Local tour operators said that visitors have made bookings 2-3 months ahead for visiting the festival.

Gujarat Tourism Corporation (GTC) chairman Kamlesh Patel told PTI “We expect a large number of tourists from across the country and abroad to the Rann Utsav. More than 7 lakhs tourists had visited the 112-day long festival in 2015-16 and we expect the number to surpass last years figures.”
