Railway passengers growth shows marginal decline between April-June 2013


MUMBAIĀ 
The total number of numbers of passengers traveling on non-suburban sectors on Indian Railways has shown a marginal decrease for the period from April 1 to June 30, 2013.

According to a release issued by ministry of railways the number of passengers have decreased by 0.69 per cent in April-May 2013 period as compared to the same period last year.

The official said, “The total approximate numbers of passengers booked during 1st April- 30th June 2013 were 2100.20 million compared to 2114.69 million during the same period last year.”
