Odisha’s Jharsuguda airport proposal gets a boost. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley says New airports will be developed through PPP mode. Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, while presenting the General Budget 2014-15 in Parliament today, has proposed to set-up an institution to provide support to mainstreaming PPPs called 3P India with a sum of Rs. 500 crore.
The institution will facilitate nuanced and sophisticated models of contracting and developing quick dispute redressal mechanism of PPPs. New Airports The Finance Minister has announced a scheme for development of new airports in Tier-I and Tier-II Cities to be launched for implementation through Airport Authority of India or PPPs. –
