Now, hair strands won’t spoil food!

Now a strand of hair would not spoil your mood and, more importantly, taste while you are having meals at restaurants across the state. The Union ministry of tourism has asked the state government to make it mandatory for the chefs to wear headgears. The cooking staffers at hotel, restraints and even the dhabas will have to follow the direction.

In a letter to chief secretary CK Mathew, tourism ministry’s secretary Parvez Dewan said that wearing headgear in kitchen or food production area is an important hygiene issue and it should be made compulsory in all eateries.

“I request you to kindly issue necessary instructions through the concerned department to make in mandatory for the staff of all restaurant, dhaba and hotel kitchens in your state to wear headgear,” Dewan wrote to Mathew.
