KOLKATA
Prodded by chief minister Mamata Banerjee, the state tourism department is planning to set up a tourism circuit from Jangalmahal to Sagar Island.
The department has started preparing a detailed project report (DPR) that will be sent to the Ministry of tourism requesting funds for the project.
“The DPR and the estimated project cost are under preparation. Once completed and approved by the chief minister, it will be sent to the Ministry of tourism requesting them to sanction funds for the project some funding to implement the project,” said a senior tourism department official.
