Nitish opens work on Rs 530-cr museum


PATNA
Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday, July 9 inaugurated the construction work for the Rs 530-crore Bihar Museum near the high court alongside Bailey Road here.

The museum, a dream project of the CM, is being built in an area of 13.5 acres, which was made available by demolishing five sprawling bungalows of the building construction department.

“The dates for the completion of the museum’s work and its inauguration have also been fixed. It would be opened for public on March 22, 2015, on the occasion of Bihar Diwas,” the CM said amid clapping from the audience during the work commencement function here.
