MUMBAI
Mumbai’s infrastructure story, sadly, is full of unfulfilled promises and missed deadlines – the trans harbour sea link, the second airport, metro rail network- all of which are examples of slow moving projects.
But 2014 promises to be different. On Friday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inaugurated T2, the Mumbai airport’s new integrated terminal the GVK group’s show piece project.
Spread over four lakh sq metre, the imposing glass and granite- laden terminal will enhance passenger convenience, reduce immigration and security check delays and offer a wider shopping and dining options.
