MoEF reconstitutes GCZMA


PANAJI
The Union ministry of environment and forest (MoEF) has reconstituted the Goa coastal zone management authority ( GCZMA) with secretary (environment) of the state government as its chairman for a period of three years.

Other members are principal chief conservator of forests, forest department; the respective directors of panchayats, tourism and industries; two chief engineers of water resources department and public works department (building); Antonio Mascarenhas, senior principal scientist, NIO, Dona Paula; Ragunath Dhume, Savita Kerkar, reader, Goa University’s department of marine biotechnology; Nitin Sawant, member secretary, Goa state biodiversity board; and director/ex-officio, joint secretary, science, technology and environment department as member secretary.
