MYSORE
The Mauritius president Rajkeswur Purryag and his family members on Saturday got up close to witness Mysore’s royalty and its heritage.
Having checked into the heritage city on Friday evening, the president accompanied with his wife Aneetah Purryag and other family members visited the Mysore Palace, dropped into the Government Silk Weaving Factory where the famous Mysore silks are woven and signed off their day soaking in the opulence of the illuminated palace and witnessed son et lumiere that tracked the trajectory of the royal city from maharajas era to the present.
