The hits against Kingfisher Airlines just keep on piling up. International Airport police has filed a FIR against the aviation company following a complaint from the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) that the airline had not paid it user development fee and passenger service fee.
The BIAL had on Thursday filed a case in this regard in a magisterial court, which on Friday referred the same to the International Airport police for investigation.
DCP (northeast) TR Suresh said since it is a case of misappropriation of funds, the parties involved will be called for verification of documents, followed by a detailed probe. Vijay Mallya, chairman, Kingfisher Airlines, Sanjay Aggarwal, CEO, A Raghunathan, CFO and Bharath Raghavan, company secretary, have been named in the FIR which has invoked Sections 403 (dishonest misappropriation of property), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 418 (cheating with the knowledge of wrongful loss), 420 (cheating and dishonesty inducing delivery of property) and 102 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
