KOCHI
The mainline cargo vessel MV Newyorker, operated by the global shipping major Maersk Line, berthed at the International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) on Tuesday with 1,185 twenty foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cashew from West Africa.
Maersk Line is the global container division of A P Moller – Maersk Group and its fleet comprises close to 550 vessels that have a capacity to carry 2.2 million containers, corresponding to more than 3,600,000 TEUs.
