Gandhi’s figure is expected to draw in audiences

DELHI: Madame Tussauds has announced the famous Indian leaders who will be immortalized in its Delhi centre.

Madame Tussauds Delhi pays tribute to the nation’s heroes and honours them at the attraction by opening a special history zone that will house the figures of great leaders such as Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Vallabhai Patel and Mahatma Gandhi.

This will be the first-time, guests can meet and pay their respect to the leaders who have sacrificed and contributed to the progress of the nation and acknowledge the remarkable change they have brought to India.

This is the 23rd attraction and it houses figures from various genres such as history, sports, cinema, and entertainment industry.

The latest addition to the attraction is a special zone which displays the great leaders of the nation, positioned for their unforgettable contributions toward our country. Further, the immersive and interactive environment will create a nationalistic environment for visitors.

Figures of two leading figures of India’s freedom movement – Vallabhbhai Patel and Subhash Chandra Bose will on show at Madame Tussauds Delhi 

They will experience and meet the significant leaders from history and from today. Showcasing The ‘Father of the Nation’, Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh, the legends, who played an indispensable role in changing the perspective of the world towards India, all present at one place. Also showcased will be contemporaries such as APJ Abdul Kalam and Narendra Modi, the current prime minister.

Also on display will be a waxwork of Bhagat Singh

The figures of the heroes are immortalized by a special team of Madame Tussauds from London.

Based on customer feedback and demand of the presence of Indian heroes, our team has designed a dedicated history zone in the upcoming Delhi attraction. Our team in London carried out an immersive research while making these figures. Going forward, we will carry on adding more influential leaders, whose contribution is acknowledged, and we also consider the requests by our visitors.”

Madame Tussauds Delhi is an attraction known for the incredibly detailed portrayal of the fascinating world of glamour, sports, history, politics and history under one roof, through planned themed and interactive areas, by the skillful and innovative interpretation of renowned celebrities through wax figures. The visitors will be encouraged to interact with the life-like figures of the celebrities, which marks the uniqueness of the wax attraction.

Madame Tussauds has been making wax figures for over 150 years. Each masterpiece takes four months, and a team of 20 dedicated artists, to create. Over 500 precise body measurements are referenced, real head hairs are inserted one by one, and countless layers of paints and tints are applied to build up skin tones – all to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has kept Madame Tussauds world renowned for over two centuries.
