Kerala gives fillip to healthcare tourism


KOCHI
Kerala Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty has said that an effective single window clearance facility will be set up in the state to clear healthcare tourism projects.

He was delivering the keynote address at the 4th international conference and exhibition on health tourism here on Thursday. The minister said that though the state has a single window clearance for business projects, there are some short comings and efforts will be made to improve it.

“The government is ready to to support healthcare tourism initiatives wholeheartedly. We expect some good proposals come out of this conference. The government welcomes it and will consider them for implementation,” the minister said.
